It all started when a young girl read her first book. She found that her mind, heart and soul were entranced by it's power, the power of words, which was the closest she had ever come to the possibilities of magic. 
As she continued to read, she began to write and as she did so,  she opened doors to a new world of infinite knowledge, a world of words and books.
She began to investigate crime with Poirot, beg for gruel with Oliver Twist, face the brutality of racism with Maya Angelou and cast spells with wizards, that girl was me.
I have come to know that words are magic, and I hope to use it to bring joy and solace to my readers, just like words did to me.
